TÀM’s first co-ownership

On May 9, 2025, only 5 months after starting its activities, Toit à moi (TÀM) purchased its first condominium near the Frontenac metro station in order to socialize it and make it affordable.

The Gauthier Family Foundation donated the $300,000 needed for this first acquisition.

For a first-time tenant, TÀM partnered with Le Chaînon. Nicola, in her sixties and of Jamaican origin, has been living in a condo built last year since July 1st. And with a rent supplement program obtained by Le Chaînon and managed by the Office d’habitation de Montréal (OMHM), Nicola will pay less than $300 per month to live in an exceptional environment and resume her life.

The apartment was sold fully furnished, with designer decor, by the former owners who were moved that their condo was now serving a person rebuilding their life.

With the Chaînon team, we will be there for Nicola!

For its first co-ownership, TÀM asked Le Chaînon to select its first tenant.
